Jordyn funny's
Jordyn and I were sitting on the couch doing a little activity book when she asked me to draw her a horse. I agreed and began to sketch my best drawing of a horse when Jordyn kindly said, "mom, it's okay if it looks like a rhinoceros!" Well, I just found something else I'm not good at, DRAWING!! Well, I actually already new that but was hoping my 5 year old wouldn't notice!!

Ha Ha! I don't know that any of us got THAT gene. I have been practicing drawing with Chloe's "how to draw" book for 4 year olds. :) My horses are starting to sort of look a little like horses. They're tough!
Jordyn is so funny.
Art is definitely not in the genes! Matt could draw really well when he was little and I could never figure out where the talent came from! I can't draw a stick figure!
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who struggles in this area. Yikes! Ellie got an Aqua Doodle for Christmas that has little drawing instructions around the border for simple animals, houses, people . . . I was so excited. I rely on stick figures. Oh well.
