Crazy Girls!

Making the best of what summer they had left, Regan and Morgan decided to have some fun with the camera in the backyard.  I love what they came up with!
I'm lovin' the hair do!
Her legs look strangely short in this picture--makes me laugh!
Regan wanted one of her looking like she was sitting on the house--mission accomplished!

Do you think her jeans got wet??
Regan enjoys taking pictures of the girls and thankfully, Morgan has decided that pictures aren't that bad--I think she secretly really enjoys them :):) Isn't she gorgeous?

We're missing one pair of feet--who's could it be?
Miss Jordyn- she doesn't ever mind having her picture taken--another gorgeous girl!
(I'm the mom, I can say that!)

Grandma's

I'm trying to weed through the 100's of pictures I've taken this summer and catch up on my blog but I'm totally overwhelmed!   We've had an awesome summer thus far and have been able to do tons of fun things with both of our families.  Can I just say how thankful I am for both mine and DJ's families?  One of my friends said something the other day that just caused me to wake up and realize just how blessed I am. She comes from a really messed up family and she doesn't have much of a relationship with her mom.  She said after meeting my mom, "your mom is so sweet and so nice and so friendly, I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have a normal mom."  I am lucky because I do have an amazing mother, a wonderful mother-in-law, and just an awesome family all the way around!  I found these pictures of my mother-in-law and just thought they were too sweet not to share.
Grandma Teichert with Maggie (my niece, Tatum's baby)  Isn't she the chubbiest most adorable little thing?
Grandma Teichert with her newest Grandson, Julius Jonathan (Jonathan and Trinny's baby)
Grandma with Porter and Kami--they couldn't wait to show Grandma their bag of goodies from the dentist office the day before.  Grandma is such a good sport!
Grandma and Janae enjoying the talent show put on by her granddaughters--they love Grandma's "stage" in front of her fireplace!!

Sunday afternoon visit with Grandma Johnson

I can't believe how lucky I am to live in the same town as one of my Grandma's.  She is one amazing lady and we love when we get some time to visit with her!  The kids were all in the mood to pose for a picture with Grandma and sweet Grandma didn't mind holding Jordyn's doll, Kelsee, that pretty much goes everywhere we go. Grandma treated her just like one of her great grandchildren! :):)
Jordyn with Great Grandma J.
Kami, Kelsee:), Grandma, and Cinderella baby doll!
The kids playing with Grandma's lego collection!  As soon as we arrive and give grandma a squeeze, the kids are off to Grandma's toy closet to break out her lego sets.  Thankfully, she's a good sport about the lego mess spread everywhere until we're ready to leave.
Regan and Grandma J.

These are one of my kids most favorite random toys that Grandma has hung on to over the years. I remember a few years back at Halloween when we took the kids over to Grandma's to trick-or-treat and she opened the door wearing these things.  The kids LOVED it and it's stuck with them through the years!
Morgan and Grandma J.
Porter with Grandma J.--I love Grandma's expression in this picture.  She loves her Great Grandchildren and they know it!
Jordyn posing with Kelsee--She adores this doll!
Kaleb and Grandma!
Me and Grandma!
One of the kids snapped this picture of Grandpa J. that sits on Gram's coffee table.  Oh how I miss my Grandpa and I get teary whenever I think of him and the sweet man he was.  When my grandma still lived in her Three Fountains Condo, she had this picture sitting on an end table in the living room next to a container of sticky notes.  Everytime we visited, one of the kids would draw a sweet picture or a note to Grandpa and stick it right on this picture.  Grandma would almost always leave it there until the next time we came.  I'm thankful that atleast Regan and Morgan have a few memories of their Great Grandpa because he was something special!

Crazy Kami!
