Why I love my garden

Despite severe neglect to my poor garden this summer, this is what I'm harvesting every couple of days. Anyone want any zucchini???

The garden is a magical thing. Seriously.

And no, I do NOT want any zucchini, thank you!

Even though it CAN be overwhelming, you just have to love a giving garden! Your produce is beautiful! And no on the zucchini. I think all of us who grow it are trying to give some away. Yikes, it is so prolific!!!!

I am a little jealous, k, a lot! Our garden is producing but we aren't getting a lot of anything. Plus we don't have the variety you guys do! Congrats!

So, to comment on your comment... :) I think you're definitely more on top of it than I am, seriously! You have SIX kids! Plus you're on your own with them more than I am considering your husband is the bishop? Mine is only the EQ pres! :) I take all day to make dinner, parts of it are prepared during the "quiet" moments of the day. that way when the time comes to put it all together it's fast. It's not always a great dinner, trying new recipes sometimes isn't the best, but we get a lot that we like. There are a couple coming up soon that you'll appreciate with your zucchini! :)
