Weekend in Cokeville

I took the kids to Cokeville last Friday through Monday to spend some time with DJ's parents. Unfortunately, DJ wasn't able to go with us but I think he got a lot accomplished and maybe even enjoyed a bit of silence. We had a ball in Cokeville, in fact, Regan cried her eyes out because she wanted to stay with Grandma and Kaleb has been bored and begging to go back to Cokeville the whole week. Boy do I feel loved!! DJ's parents always make us feel so welcome and it was so nice to have a few extra sets of hands helping with the babies. Dorothy is so great with the kids and somehow manages to make gigantic meals that fill us until we're stuffed. The kids always talk about the yummy breakfasts at Grandma Teichert's house consisting of everything from pancakes, sausage, eggs, toast, cereal....you name it, she makes it. We could seriously make it through the day with no other meals but that one. Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma T. for showing us a great time.
This was the highlight of Regan's trip. Grandpa showed her how to drive the 4-wheeler and she took the kids for rides.
This was the highlight of the trip for Porter. DJ didn't know when he built this for his parents that Porter would be entertained for hours on this little ledge. He had a few tumbles off of it but had it pretty well mastered by the end of the trip.
Kamryn loved Grandma's fireplace area that also has a little step that DJ tiled. Grandma likes to call it her "stage" and Kamryn took right to it. I guess she comes by it honestly with an older sister named, Jordyn, that LOVES the stage.
Our cowboy in his cousin's purple set of wheels. What a wuss! This was definitely the highlight of the trip for him.
We stopped in to see DJ's sister, Patty, in Montpelier on the way there and on the way back. It's always fun to visit her and the kids beg to ride her motorized wheelchair up and down the halls. Too bad I didn't have my camera out for that! We love you, Patty!

What a wonderful few days for you and the kids and for Dorothy and John! Thanks for being so sensitive to their needs to be a part of your childrens' lives.

Love you lots!
