piano recital

Once again, I'm behind. Regan and Morgan participated in their piano recital on May 31st. Both played beautifully despite their nerves. They are great little pianists and it's fun to see the improvement they've both made over the past year.

This is their sweet teacher, Rosemarie Petersen. She really is a great teacher and genuinely loves each student, and they know it! She does fun rewards for passing off books, gives the kids a big gift at the end of each year, and often brings treats for the other kids. (Kaleb LOVES her) hopefully not just for the treats. I had to laugh because she always makes the yummiest variety of goodies for refreshments at the recital. As soon as I mentioned that the girls would be having their piano recital, Kaleb got the biggest grin on his face and said, "are we going to get goodies." So, during the whole recital he was drueling and kept asking about the refreshments. This picture shows his love of sweets which he definetly inherited from his mother!
