Santa's lap
In November I took the kids to BYU-I to the bookstore for their pre-Christmas sale which turned out to be quite the party. They had games, raffles, food, entertainment, and my kid's favorite, sitting on Santa's lap. I'm pretty sure he was the "real" Santa:) because he was he was just so darn adorable! He just beamed when the kids hopped right up on his lap and snuggled right in to him with their faces buried in his big white beard (not fake)!! Kaleb thought he was pretty much awesome and enthusiastically told him he'd like his own giant bag of chips and a blue glowing basketball, Jordyn thinks she doesn't believe in Santa anymore but wasn't about to miss an opportunity to sit on his lap and tell him she'd like a doll and a makeup kit. Porter and Kami were so excited they could barely wait their turn in line. As soon as it was their turn they both ran right up with huge grins on their faces and gave him a big squeeze. Porter announced that he wanted a firetruck with a really tall ladder and Kami asked for a baby doll that talked but I think they were even more excited about the candy cane he handed them when they got down. Anyway, it was a fun evening and I even got a little Christmas shopping done at some pretty good prices.

There's something about seeing the real, actual Santa that just makes you think that he is as real as everyone says. What a fun night!!!
What a cute Santa!
That guy makes a great santa. I love that Kaleb really wanted that bag of chips. You guys must be way too healthy :) When Santa asked Dax if he'd been a good boy he said, "no, me naughty".
I think it WAS the real Santa! Looks just like him and no fake one could attract and love your kids like this one! What sweet pictures...the kids look so happy!
