Fat lips!

If you'd like one, I'm sure we can hook you up.  Just come on over, ask Porter to go and find his Old Navy Bouncy ball (curse that .25 cents I found in my purse to appease a whiny 2 year old)  Stand approximately 2 feet away from him and he'll promptly throw it at a rather high speed at your mouth, AND, what do you end up with?  Free lip Botox!  I gotta say, it doesn't look or feel very good.  My upper lip swelled up pretty quickly making me look like a really bad version of Angelina Jolie and to top it all off, the kids kept looking at me and saying things like, "man mom, your lip is huge, you look awful, what happened, that looks SOOOO bad."  Oh well, I was having a bad hair day anyway so a fat lip was just the icing on the cake:)  Poor Porter, he felt pretty bad and after screaming in the corner for a few minutes came over to apologize and give me a big hug.  Awwww!!  Mom's do take a beating from time to time but we just keep coming back for more!

What will he think of next?

I'll never look at a dump truck the same after a little experience we had with Porter Monday night.  We were carving away at our pumpkins for family night when out of the corner of my eye I see Porter with his pants completely off squatting on his toy dump truck.  He had "the look" on his face so I knew exactly what is intentions were, I just hoped I wasn't too late.  He had a sheepish grin on his face while saying,  "I poop in my dump truck!"  WHAT!!  I didn't know whether to laugh or cry or barf!  DJ found the whole thing hilarious and couldn't stop chuckling the whole night.  He jokingly said, "wow, Porter is one smart kid, he's figured out that it's a "dump truck" and that's exactly what's he's using it for.  What a proud father he is!! :)  Though I think it's pretty funny myself, I can't help but think about what could have happened and it would've been a shame to throw such a nice big dump truck away--so, I'm keeping an extra close eye on the little "dump truck" man hoping that he doesn't get another wild idea.  Hmmmm...little boys.

You know what's cute???

These two stink bugs!

They turned 2 last Friday. I still can't believe it. Seems like just yesterday when they were born but other times it seems like an eternity (you know what I mean)! I still can't figure out why Heavenly Father would trust me with twins but I'm sure glad he did. It's really not something I ever envisioned myself going through and though it's been one of the hardest things, it's definetly been one of the most rewarding. I love them both so much & can't imagine my life without them. Their relationship is one of a kind. They adore one another even though they are so completely different in every way. Their B-Day pictures did not turn out. I sure wish I had some skill in photography area but since I don't, this is what ya get! Love you both, Kamryn and Porter!
