Isn't she the cutest thing ever!!  She loves to sing and serenaded us all throughout the day with her beautiful music!  Grandma Teichert brought out a huge bag of candy so all of the kids had to perform for a piece!  Good idea, Grandma!!  Most of the kids took her up on it..Cute little Leah was one of the first in line!

The "no-bake Cookie Queen!"

This is Regan Teichert, aka, The "No-Bake Cookie Queen."  She's addicted to these yummy devilish cookies and begs to make them all the time!!  She even told me the other day that they are the magic cure to her stomachaches...something about her body needing the oats and chocolate.. ..she cracks me up!

Priceless

This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago on my hubby's Birthday!  It just so happened that my Nephew, Jake Garn, had his missionary farewell on DJ's Birthday so the whole family got to get together!  This is DJ with his mom! Have I mentioned that he's the baby of 9 kids so his siblings like to tease him that he's his "momma's favorite":)  The truth hurts, right?  Just kidding all you Teichert's!  I just love this picture!
Oh, and Happy 40th Birthday to my hubby!  (almost 1 month ago)  My brother-in-law and niece decided to give DJ a nice little 40th birthday present made up of some much needed "getting older" items...pill organizer, Metamucil, Hemmorhoid cream, & gas relief!  Some of those things he could really use, we just won't say which ones:)  Thanks, Val and Jessica!

Love this man!

creations!

I'm loving my sewing machine. I'm not daring enough, YET, to do anything even remotely challenging but I'm loving being able to create even the simplest thing like this little baby doll skirt to match the skirt I made for Kami. It took me 20 minutes and you would've thought I'd given Kamryn the world.  She was sooo excited!! I love happy smiling faces!
I just whipped up another one for Jordyn's doll!  (no picture) Can't wait for her to see it because, well, her doll (Kelsey) is her favorite, it is considered an official member of our family!:)

So True!

My sister posted this on her blog a few days ago and I love it!  Soooo true!

Kids!

I'm terrible at recording the funny and cute things that go on at our house from day to day but I'm sure I could write a book if I'd take the time to jot them down.  Here's just a few that I can think of:

Regan:  "Can I please have a sip of your punch, Jordyn?"
Jordyn:  "No, you left yours in your locker!"
Regan:  (taking a sip) "It's okay, don't worry, I've only thrown up a couple of times today":) hahaha!
Jordyn....not amused!

Regan talking to Holly Andrus at Y.W.'s one night:
Holly:  "How are the driving lessons going with your dad?"
Regan:  "Good, except that he yells at me every time I run a stop sign!" :):)
Holly:  "Well, I think that's probably a good thing, Regan!"
DJ later clarified that Regan hasn't actually run any stop signs, she just has a habit of not slowing down until the last minute and slams on the breaks...not good, but better than running through them:)

Morgan:  "Where's my water bottle, Porter?"  "You can't have my water bottle!"
Porter:  "Here you go, I was just shakin' it for ya!"

Porter:  "Mommy, you are the best mommy in the whole world." I love you more than a pig!!!  (squeezing me around the neck as tight as he possibly can)

Double trouble!

What can I say about these two? They have more fun together and just continually make me laugh, smile, and cry with the cute things they do and say.  I'm sure Porter will hate me someday for posting this lovely picture of him in the chef hat and wig but who cares, I get the giggles every time I look at it!
One night, Porter was pitching a fit about the dinner menu and Kamryn couldn't stand the thought of him missing out on dessert so she decided she'd feed him. :)   She used every tactic she could think of to get him to open his mouth and finally her hard work paid off.  These two just kill me because they get each other in trouble and then as soon as the punishment is in place, they are backpedaling and trying to convince me that the whole thing was an accident.:)  They can't stand to see each other sad or hurt and will go to great lengths to fix a problem!  I try to imagine how things will be for them when they are in High School and college....I can just imagine her sitting in the cafeteria right by him coaxing him to eat all of his school lunch:)
Lego's have to be one of the favorite toys at our house.  They've spent hours during the day building extravagant buildings and playing "lego house!"

And...when they need to shake things up a bit, they invite their good buddy, Larcen, to come and play!  What cute kids they are!
